Wu Shipeng, Chairman of the Board, born in July of 1964 with university degree, has been engaged in seaweed processing industry for more than 20 years. He once served as operator, shift leader, statistician, clerical assistant, secretary, Secretary of the Youth League General Branch, Secretary of the Youth League Committee, Director of the organization, Director of General Manager Office, Assistant to General Manager and Marketing Manager, and General Manager in Qingdao Huanghai Seaweed Industrial Group Corporation, Qingdao Jiaonan Huanghai Seaweed Industrial Co., Ltd., Qingdao Jiaonan Mingyue Seaweed Industrial Co., Ltd., Jiaonan Dayang Seaweed Chemical Co., Ltd. Now he serves as Chairman of Qingdao Gather Great Ocean Seaweed Industrial Co., Ltd.
Over the past 20 years, he devoted himself to the research on the development history of Chinese seaweed industry and the whole procedure of seaweed processing. He has lots of professional papers published in national journals and was awarded the title of “Provincial and Municipal Pioneer in New Long March” and “Advanced Worker” for several times, and elected as Director of Rural Credit Cooperative Association of Jiaonan City, “Member of CPPCC of Jiaonan City, Director of Private Enterprise Association of Qingdao City, Executive Director of the Science and Management Association of Qingdao City, Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries of Qingdao City, Vice President of Chinese Seaweed Industrial Association, and was awarded such honorary title as “Excellent Member of CPPCC of Jiaonan City” , “Outstanding Builder of the Socialistic Career of Jiaonan City”, “Outstanding Entrepreneur of Jiaonan City”, “Model Worker of Jiaonan City”, “Entrepreneurship Leader of Qingdao City” and “Excellent Leader of Shandong Province”, etc.
